What are OEM approvals?

Official endorsements from original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) that confirm a particular refinishing system or paint product has met their requirements and quality standards.

Once approved, the refinishing system or paint products are recommended to the dealer network and become a "preferred choice" for use in collision repair and paint warranty work. In essence, approvals protect the customer's warranty because the systemor products have already been pre-screened by the car manufacturer.
