About Spies Hecker
Spies Hecker has been supplying car paint and automotive refinish for the transportation industry since before the first motor vehicle was even on the drawing board.
In the year 1882 the two Spies brothers, together with Adolf Hecker, established their paint factory in Cologne, Germany to provide finishes for horse drawn carriages.
Only one year later, in 1883, Gottlieb Daimler unveiled the first petrol engine suitable for driving a motor vehicle and a new revolution in the world of transportation was born.
Since this early beginning, Spies Hecker has maintained a tradition of excellence and innovation in the automotive paint it delivers, which has translated into consistent growth and a reputation as a leading contributor to the success and professionalism of the industry.
