Please note not all of the courses below are scheduled in for 2nd half of 2010 and may only be available if minimum numbers are met.
Standox Basecoat & Clearcoat Application (1 day)
This course will enable the refinisher to better understand the Standox Basecoat & Clearcoat range. It will demonstrate how choosing the correct hardener and thinner combination, in relation to the size and type of job, will achieve optimum results.
Standox New Technology (1 day)
This Standox course has been specifically designed as an introduction to new efficient use and innovative paint technology from Standox. New demands such as faster application, protection of the environment, new colour effects and material savings are the driving factors for the development of new paint technologies. Introduction to Waterborne technology as the refinish paint of the future. The emphasis is on productivity gains and paint material savings therefore enabling the paintshop to be more profitable.
Standox Refinishing 1 (2 days)
Refinishing 1 has been designed for the vehicle refinisher who has recently started using Standox. Refinishing 1 is an introductory course which covers existing and new products and procedures. The emphasis is on product strategy and application of the product range. On course completion, the vehicle refinisher will have gained new skills and confidence with the Standox range. This will enable the painter to become more of an asset to the paint shop.

Standox Refinishing 2 (2 days)
Refinishing 2 is the second part of the Standox Training Programs.On course completion, the painter will have obtained all the necessary skills and knowledge of the Standox product range. These skills will assist in being able to become more productive in the bodyshop and overcome any obstacles that may arise.

Standox Painting Plastics (1 day)
Standox Painting Plastics seminar has been designed for the existing Standox refinisher, or one who has recently started using Standox. In this module, the participant learns how to pretreat and coat plastic materials.It describes how to refinish the most commonly used plastic substrates in practice taking into consideration the different coating requirements. Plastic Painting covers existing and new products and procedures. The emphasis is on product strategy and application of the plastic product range.On course completion, the vehicle refinisher will have gained new skills and confidence with the Standox Plastic range. This will enable him to become more productive in the painting of plastic parts in the paintshop.

Standox Colouristic Seminar (1 day)
Standox Colouristic Seminar has been designed to help the Standox refinisher achieve the best results when colour matching. From the perception of colours to the basic rules of colorimetry and the correct colour rectification.This module provides the necessary technical know-how on the theory and practice of tinting and explains the tools that can be used to achieve reliable results.An informative theory and practical session showing how to get the best results when using the Standox Colour Spectophotometer.

Standox Micro Repairs (1 day)
The Standox refinishing course has been designed to help the bodyshop meet the demand for economical repairs. This course, theory and practical, describes how to repair minor damage such as stone chips and scratches.

Standox Rapid Repair System (1 day)
This Standox course has been specifically designed to further enhance the overall speed of a repair process when using the Standox products. The emphasis is on productivity gains and paint material savings therefore enabling the paintshop to be more profitable. This course will enable the refinisher to make the correct choice of Standox products that save time and money. Advanced training in the application of Standox wet on wet surfacers, VOC-compliant 2K HS Clears and 2K MS Clears.
